Academic Excellence

Our elementary teachers are committed to the development of strong minds and Godly character. Each child is viewed as an individual with specific strengths and characteristics. Our curriculum is designed to include the skills and concepts from Virginia’s SOL’s while integrating Biblical Worldview & STEM-based learning across the content. Literacy skills are taught and reinforced across all grade levels and subject areas.

Lower and Upper elementary programs focus on the five basic components of literacy while helping students understand the science of reading. Early literacy development and math skills are consistently and intentionally taught and reviewed to maintain a high degree of retention. Science, Social Studies, and Bible round out our core course curriculum.

The entire Early Childhood Department is staffed by qualified personnel. In hiring, consideration is given to areas of study, personality, and experience. Each teacher is dedicated to the education, care, and personal guidance of the children with Christian standards and ideals.
