Preschool

The preschool program is challenging two and three year olds with foundational concepts and skills using the Abeka curriculum. Our Christian based preschool incorporates Bible stories, Chapel, music and movement, creative play, art, and centers. Our school provides a safe environment with loving and faithful teachers that encourage our students to grow in academic and social success.

K4 Program

The K4 program continues laying the foundation and refines those readiness skills needed to be successful in the kindergarten classroom. Developmentally appropriate instruction is done through structured group time, creative play centers, stories and role playing, arts and crafts, music, physical education, and more. Our 2 year old program is a 3-day a week or 5-day a week program. Our 3’s, 4’s and JK programs are 5 days a week.

Junior Kindergarten

JK is a five day a week, full-day program led by a qualified teacher. Our students leave having had the opportunity to develop strong academic readiness skills, greater confidence, and maturity. To be considered, a child must turn 5 years of age before December 31st.

The entire Early Childhood Department is staffed by qualified personnel. In hiring, consideration is given to areas of study, personality, and experience. Each teacher is dedicated to the education, care, and personal guidance of the children with Christian standards and ideals. The staff participates in continuing education classes throughout the year. Background checks are conducted for all employees.

All of our programs are approved by the Department of Social Services in Virginia.

Before & After School Care

From 6:30 AM-8:00 AM and 3:30pm-6:00pm to provide homework support, time for play both inside and outside, snack time, and opportunities to build friendships.

Summer Care

From 6:30 AM-6:00 PM, children have the ability to enjoy many on and off campus activities with transportation is provided by Guardian Christian Academy. There are themes each week with curriculum materials to continue their education even in the summer.
