Building Healthy Bodies and Spiritual Minds
The Guardian Christian Academy Athletic Program provides quality coaching and teaching from a Christian perspective. The program is designed to prepare and enable athletes, through their successes and failures, to have an influence on the world for Christ.
Guardian Christian Academy believes competition and participation in athletic events contributes to the physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual development of Christian school students. In addition, it gives students the opportunity to test and display their skill before others. Healthy competition between athletes and schools are key to mature Christian relationships.
Athletic Forms
Guardian Christian Academy believes competition and participation in athletic events contributes to the physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual development of Christian school students. Not only are skills and techniques taught, but teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance are emphasized as well. Loyalty and self-discipline are also key. When parents, students, and staff are committed to supporting these goals, GCA athletics is able to operate smoothly, greatly benefiting the student. The athletic handbook provides the framework for the success of the athletic department, and necessary forms allow for the daily operations of the sports programs to function smoothly.
The GCA Sports Complex is a newly constructed 21,000 square foot facility located in Chesterfield, VA. It houses 4 regulation volleyball courts, 2 regulation basketball courts, 2 batting cages, 2 futsal courts, and the Snack Shack concession stand.
It is home to the Guardian Royal Knights sports’ teams, XZone Travel Volleyball and GCA Mini Knights Recreational Program. The facility is available for rentals of all types. Feel free to contact us for all your sporting and event needs.

Our family has been at GCA for 6 years now, and I can’t imagine sending my children anywhere else for school. I had always been confident they were receiving a superior education, but when a friend became a substitute teacher there, she was blown away by everything – from the advanced curriculum to the health and safety protocols. She said I could “rest assured that your girls are getting an EXCELLENT education in a loving, very spiritually sound environment!” We have become such close friends with so many of the families there, and there is such a feeling of being part of a team, all focused on the academic and spiritual growth of our precious children. We highly recommend GCA!

My kids have been at GCA for 5 years and the community and care have been so special to our family. The teaching staff in elementary has been exceptional and while my kids have excelled academically, it’s the spiritual sincerity of the staff that has blown us away. The students learn about God in a way that makes them fall in love with Him and become hungry for more!
